Separator of ferrous metals is made in the form of the belt conveyor. His purpose is to separate the ferromagnetic materials from the other materials transported by the conveyor. After having separated the ferromagnetic materials they are directed e.g. to a container.
That separator can be placed e.g. as the discharging conveyor, above the sorting conveyor in its discharging part etc.
